ARE YOU PREPARING YOURSELF FOR YOUR SPIRITUAL BATTLE? “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.  For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against […]

GOD’S WRATH ON HIS ENEMIES “God is jealous, and the Lord avenges; The Lord avenges and is furious. The Lord will take vengeance on His adversaries, And He reserves wrath for His enemies; The Lord is slow to anger and great in power, And will not at all acquit the wicked. The Lord has His way In […]

BEING STRONG IN HIS GRACE AND KNOWING IT “You therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE WHEN WE DECIDE TO FOLLOW JESUS “Then Jesus said to His disciples, “Assuredly, I say to you that it is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven. And again I say to you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle […]

Prayer Will Build Character

Posted by Men of Redemption on January 3, 2012

Prayer is will build character in all of us. It’s our communication with our Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ. Daily prayer and meditation is a matter of will and habit. Prayer should be a part of our lives everyday. Prayer involves not only asking God for blessing and understanding but it also involves praising and giving Him thanks for what He is, and has already done. We are to give God thanks in all things, good and bad because there is always a reason He allows these things in our lives. He wants us to learn, grow, and realize that we need Him. If you have a relationship with God, communicating with Him is essential for a healthy life.

“Prayer is not a work that can be allocated to one or another group in the church. It is everybody’s responsibility; it is everybody’s privilege.” A. W. Tozer
