    MY QUESTION ABOUT RECOVERY IS . . . .

“My new support group has a workbook and a journal. I’ve never been one to journal and looking through it it involves a lot of writing. I’m not a writer so how can I understand the purpose of what’s required of me? Your group is asking you to do something that you’ve never tried to […]

WORDS OF WISDOM – WHAT GOD’S WORD SAYS ABOUT IT!

WHAT GOD’S WORD SAYS ABOUT . . . . LIVING FOR GOD “So then, since Christ suffered physical pain, you must arm yourselves with the same attitude he had, and be ready to suffer, too. For if you have suffered physically for Christ, you have finished with sin. You won’t spend the rest of your […]

    BEING AN OVERCOMER!

    GOD’S WORD FOR THIS DAY!

TODAY’S PASSAGE: LUKE 12:1-12  (TPT) . . . . JESUS WARNS AGAINST HYPOCRISY “By now a crowd of many thousands had gathered around Jesus. So many people pushed to be near him, they began to trample on one another. Jesus turned to his disciples and warned them, “Make sure you are not influenced by the […]

WORDS OF WISDOM – WHAT GOD’S WORD SAYS ABOUT IT!

WHAT GOD’S WORD SAYS ABOUT . . . . CHRIST TOOK OUR PUNISHMENT “But now God has shown us a way to be made right with him without keeping the requirements of the law, as was promised in the writings of Moses and the prophets long ago. We are made right with God by placing […]

Read Your Word This Morning?

Posted by Men of Redemption on May 11, 2016

Breakfast of Champions

The Word of God is filled with wisdom, knowledge and hope, all three combined to give us fulfillment for every situation. There are many scriptures that describe each with life-giving vitality  for us to apply to our own lives. Getting into God’s Word shouldn’t be a chore or an obligation, but a desire to know Him, to know His character, what He likes, what He loves, what He hates, and yes God does hate some things in this life and we should all be aware of them and not allow them to be a part of lives at all costs (Psalm 6:16-19). Read His Word and find out what they are. This will keep you focused on doing His will with passion and intentionality. Ask God to show you in His Word who you are, and believe me, He will. Just don’t be disappointed when you find out you’re not who you thought you were. Get into His Word today!

My Daily Devotion

Posted by Men of Redemption on May 11, 2016

Devotions“For behold, the day is coming, Burning like an oven, And all the proud, yes, all who do wickedly will be stubble. And the day which is coming shall burn them up,” Says the Lord of hosts, “That will leave them neither root nor branch. But to you who fear My name The Sun of Righteousness shall arise With healing in His wings; And you shall go out And grow fat like stall-fed calves. You shall trample the wicked, For they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet On the day that I do this,” Says the Lord of hosts. “Remember the Law of Moses, My servant, Which I commanded him in Horeb for all Israel, With the statutes and judgments. Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet Before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord. And he will turn The hearts of the fathers to the children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers, Lest I come and strike the earth with a curse.”   –   Malachi  4:1-6

Today’s Point of Focus:

Our Lord Jesus will return like a consuming fire, bringing judgment and righteousness.
