    MY QUESTION ABOUT RECOVERY IS . . . .

“My new support group has a workbook and a journal. I’ve never been one to journal and looking through it it involves a lot of writing. I’m not a writer so how can I understand the purpose of what’s required of me? Your group is asking you to do something that you’ve never tried to […]

WORDS OF WISDOM – WHAT GOD’S WORD SAYS ABOUT IT!

WHAT GOD’S WORD SAYS ABOUT . . . . LIVING FOR GOD “So then, since Christ suffered physical pain, you must arm yourselves with the same attitude he had, and be ready to suffer, too. For if you have suffered physically for Christ, you have finished with sin. You won’t spend the rest of your […]

    BEING AN OVERCOMER!

    GOD’S WORD FOR THIS DAY!

TODAY’S PASSAGE: LUKE 12:1-12  (TPT) . . . . JESUS WARNS AGAINST HYPOCRISY “By now a crowd of many thousands had gathered around Jesus. So many people pushed to be near him, they began to trample on one another. Jesus turned to his disciples and warned them, “Make sure you are not influenced by the […]

WORDS OF WISDOM – WHAT GOD’S WORD SAYS ABOUT IT!

WHAT GOD’S WORD SAYS ABOUT . . . . CHRIST TOOK OUR PUNISHMENT “But now God has shown us a way to be made right with him without keeping the requirements of the law, as was promised in the writings of Moses and the prophets long ago. We are made right with God by placing […]

Read Your Word This Morning?

Posted by Men of Redemption on May 12, 2016

Breakfast of ChampionsOne of the things I concentrate on when I’m reading God’s Word is finding myself inside the stories that I read. I allow myself to really get involved with the character of the story I’m reading about and I often ask myself “Do I relate to this character?” And most often the answer is yes because whatever is going on in that particular story, I’ve found myself having gone through or even presently experiencing the same situation to some degree. It’s almost scary to see how Biblical history continues to show me where I have flaws, faults, issues and matters of the heart, and so many other incidents in life. That’s one of the primary reasons I stay reading my Word daily because I need, I desire, and I want to know what God’s Word says about life and the issues of life when it especially deals or concerns me. I’ve learned so much myself, uncovering patterns of indecision and complacency, as well as finding confirmation to making good choices and doing the right thing in God’s eyes! I will not stop reading my Word because that’s how powerful God’s Word truly is! Get into His Word, and find out who you really are!

My Daily Devotion

Posted by Men of Redemption on May 12, 2016

Devotions“Woe to those who devise iniquity, And work out evil on their beds! At morning light they practice it, Because it is in the power of their hand. They covet fields and take them by violence, Also houses, and seize them. So they oppress a man and his house, A man and his inheritance. Therefore thus says the Lord: “Behold, against this family I am devising disaster, From which you cannot remove your necks; Nor shall you walk haughtily, For this is an evil time. In that day one shall take up a proverb against you, And lament with a bitter lamentation, saying: ‘We are utterly destroyed! He has changed the heritage of my people; How He has removed it from me! To a turncoat He has divided our fields.’” Therefore you will have no one to determine boundaries by lot In the assembly of the Lord.”   –   MICAH  2:1-5

Today’s Point of Focus:

Don’t worry about those who persecute us, they shall have their reward.
