Restoring a Life of Purity – One Day at a Time

Today, I Will Trust God to . . . .

Posted by Men of Redemption on April 14, 2017

This day, I pray O God that you help me understand your Word as you speak it to my heart; that I have a listening ear and receive your instruction with gladness. Now Father God, bring understanding that I might do your will in the earth by obedience and submission to your desires and purpose; that my life would be a walking epistle for others to read as I am living your Word out loud with my walk, my hands, my feet, my speech; so that you O God will be exalted in the earth  because of your mighty works! Strengthen my desire to walk worthy, to stand for righteousness and holiness as your Holy Spirit leads and guides me; Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in thy sight O God! Let the fear of your presence be before me as I stand in awe of you Lord God. You desire obedience more than sacrifice so I commit myself to absorbing your Word daily to experience your grace, your grace and your mercy.

“But why do you call Me ‘Lord, Lord,’ and not do the things which I say? Whoever comes to Me, and hears My sayings and does them, I will show you whom he is like: He is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid the foundation on the rock. And when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently against that house, and could not shake it, for it was founded on the rock. But he who heard and did nothing is like a man who built a house on the earth without a foundation, against which the stream beat vehemently; and immediately it fell. And the ruin of that house was great.”  –  Luke  6:46-49
