    GOD’S WORD FOR TODAY!

SERVANT LEADERS  FROM THE BOOK OF ACTS 6:1-15  (The Passion Translation)  “During those days the number of Jesus’ followers kept multiplying greatly. But a complaint was brought against those who spoke Aramaic by the Greek-speaking Jews, who felt their widows were being overlooked during the daily distribution of food. The twelve apostles called a meeting […]

    REGAINING TRUST WHILE IN RECOVERY

“SEEKING UNITY IN OUR MARRIAGE DURING RECOVERY” One of the things my wife and I committed to one another was to be in agreement, in unity with one another in everything we do. While in recovery, it’s difficult, even hard at times to see how we as husband and wife can come into agreement while […]

    GOD’S WORD FOR TODAY!

THE MESSAGE OF RECONCILIATION  FROM THE BOOK OF 2 CORINTHIANS 5:11-21  (The Passion Translation)  “Since we are those who stand in holy awe of the Lord, we make it our passion to persuade others to turn to him. We know that our lives are transparent before the God who knows us fully, and I hope that […]

    GOD’S WORD FOR TODAY!

THE TRIUMPH OF GOD’S LOVE  FROM THE BOOK OF ROMANS 8:31-39  (The Passion Translation)  “So, what does all this mean? If God has determined to stand with us, tell me, who then could ever stand against us? For God has proved his love by giving us his greatest treasure, the gift of his Son. And […]

    REGAINING TRUST WHILE IN RECOVERY

PRAYING TOGETHER DEVELOPS THE FOUNDATION OF RENEWED TRUST    I realize that at the beginning of all of our recovery efforts, praying together may not be the first thing on our wives’ minds because most of the time they’re not receiving any support or ministering to early on. And then, on the other hand, I […]

My Daily Devotion – DON’T LEAVE HOME WITHOUT IT!

Posted by Men of Redemption on May 22, 2017

START YOUR DAY OFF WITH GOD’S WORD!

Today’s Reading:

Romans 10:1-13 . . . .

“Brethren, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is that they may be saved. For I bear them witness that they have a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge. For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted to the righteousness of God. For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes. For Moses writes about the righteousness which is of the law, “The man who does those things shall live by them.” But the righteousness of faith speaks in this way, “Do not say in your heart, ‘Who will ascend into heaven?’” (that is, to bring Christ down from above) or, “‘Who will descend into the abyss?’” (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead). But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach): that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.” For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
