Today, I Will Trust God To . . . .

Posted by Men of Redemption on August 9, 2017

This day, heavenly Father God, help me to know that you are the Almighty God, Lord and Savior, King of kings; I trust you Lord God to show yourself in your magnificence and majesty, and all of your wonder; let the fear of your glory and presence resonate in my heart that I may know you personally Father God. Speak to my spirit man that I might be captivated  by your awesome power and glory; I trust you dear God that my family would fear you Lord God because of who you are-the Omnipotent One, the Omnipresent One, and the Omniscient One. You are worthy O God of all the praise, all the glory, and all the honor.

“Who is the man that fears the Lord? Him shall He teach in the way He chooses. He himself shall dwell in prosperity, And his descendants shall inherit the earth. The secret of the Lord is with those who fear Him, And He will show them His covenant. My eyes are ever toward the Lord, For He shall pluck my feet out of the net.”  –  Psalm 25:12-15

Today, I Will Trust God to . . . .

Posted by Men of Redemption on April 20, 2017

Today, I will not lean to my own understanding Lord God but I will trust in you to help be honest and true in all my doing; that you will give me a heart to do what is right in your sight and not my own. For I know that my flesh will try to overrule my intentions and my thoughts, and I know there is no good thing with my flesh being involved; I need the strength and power of your Holy Spirit to direct my conscience, my desires, to be truthful and sincere in everything I put my hands, heart and mind to; Create in me a clean heart, and renew a right spirit within me that I might not sin against you heavenly Father; Give the right words and encouragement to apply to my own life that I might see your goodness. Let honesty and truth go before me, before I think, before I consider a matter, that wisdom has her way in my heart and flows out of me with love and sincerity that will glorify your name, the Name of Jesus Christ. I want to fear your Name, to know that you are Almighty God, and to know it in my heart, to live in reverence to your name O God; I will trust you Father God to do in me what you desire and only you for your purposes.

. . . . To Fill Me With Your Holy Spirit

Father, in Jesus’ Name, this day I seek you with all of my heart, and ask you heavenly father to fill me with your Spirit; I realize that I can not do this thing called life without you. I need your guidance and supernatural authority to overwhelm me with love and grace and mercy so that I may show the love of Christ to all who I encounter. I need your Spirit to empower me when I’m being attacked by the adversities of this life in my vulnerable moments; I need your Spirit to enlighten my mind and heart to the things of God when I don’t know or have the answers; I will depend upon you and you only Lord, and the Holy Spirit to bring me through every situation no matter what or how it presents itself. I will trust you O God to lead me by the Holy Spirit because I cannot do it by myself.

“If you love Me, keep My commandments. And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever— the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you.”  –  John  14:15-18

Breakfast of Champions DO NOT WORRY

“Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature? “So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? “Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.”
– Matthew 6:25-34
