Today, I Will Trust God To . . . .

Posted by Men of Redemption on August 9, 2017

.  .  .  TO FEAR YOU O GOD BECAUSE YOU ARE ALMIGHTY GOD!

This day, heavenly Father God, help me to know that you are the Almighty God, Lord and Savior, King of kings; I trust you Lord God to show yourself in your magnificence and majesty, and all of your wonder; let the fear of your glory and presence resonate in my heart that I may know you personally Father God. Speak to my spirit man that I might be captivated  by your awesome power and glory; I trust you dear God that my family would fear you Lord God because of who you are-the Omnipotent One, the Omnipresent One, and the Omniscient One. You are worthy O God of all the praise, all the glory, and all the honor.

“Who is the man that fears the Lord? Him shall He teach in the way He chooses. He himself shall dwell in prosperity, And his descendants shall inherit the earth. The secret of the Lord is with those who fear Him, And He will show them His covenant. My eyes are ever toward the Lord, For He shall pluck my feet out of the net.”  –  Psalm 25:12-15

My Daily Devotion

Posted by Men of Redemption on September 21, 2016

Devotions“For the kingdom of heaven is like a landowner who went out early in the morning to hire laborers for his vineyard. Now when he had agreed with the laborers for a denarius a day, he sent them into his vineyard. And he went out about the third hour and saw others standing idle in the marketplace, and said to them, ‘You also go into the vineyard, and whatever is right I will give you.’ So they went. Again he went out about the sixth and the ninth hour, and did likewise.  And about the eleventh hour he went out and found others standing idle, and said to them, ‘Why have you been standing here idle all day?’ They said to him, ‘Because no one hired us.’ He said to them, ‘You also go into the vineyard, and whatever is right you will receive.’ “So when evening had come, the owner of the vineyard said to his steward, ‘Call the laborers and give them their wages, beginning with the last to the first.’ And when those came who were hired about the eleventh hour, they each received a denarius. But when the first came, they supposed that they would receive more; and they likewise received each a denarius. And when they had received it, they complained against the landowner, saying, ‘These last men have worked only one hour, and you made them equal to us who have borne the burden and the heat of the day.’ But he answered one of them and said, ‘Friend, I am doing you no wrong. Did you not agree with me for a denarius? Take what is yours and go your way. I wish to give to this last man the same as to you. Is it not lawful for me to do what I wish with my own things? Or is your eye evil because I am good?’ So the last will be first, and the first last. For many are called, but few chosen.”  –   MATTHEW  20:1-16

Today’s Point of Focus:

Don’t consume yourself with others as you work; do your work as unto the Lord and He will reward you.

Read Your Word This Morning?

Posted by Men of Redemption on June 6, 2016

Daily MannaOne of the most important things, if not, the most important thing we’ll learn about reading God’s Word is that He is a Holy God. As you get into reading about the history and beginning of life in the Old Testament, you’ll discover that God makes Himself known to all that He is Lord God of all (Exodus 3:14). He is sovereign, all-knowing, omnipresent, omniscient God. His Word tells us that no man has seen Him (John 1:18). His presence, His glory, is so powerful that we can not stand in front of His glory in our human condition. That’s how awesome our God is! But as we read in His Word, we can get to know Him on a personal, intimate level, and that’s exactly what He desires from us, His greatest creation. He loves us so! So when you’re reading His Word, know that the Creator of all living things, the One who created the Universe and formed man into His own image, loves us so very dearly and wants the very best for us in this life. He’s more than able to guide and instruct us through this life. Trust Him, and His Word, and He will do what He says. Always!

“But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”

–   1   Corinthians  2:9

The Word in the morningJESUS HEALS A CENTURION’S SERVANT

“Now when He concluded all His sayings in the hearing of the people, He entered Capernaum. And a certain centurion’s servant, who was dear to him, was sick and ready to die. So when he heard about Jesus, he sent elders of the Jews to Him, pleading with Him to come and heal his servant. And when they came to Jesus, they begged Him earnestly, saying that the one for whom He should do this was deserving, “for he loves our nation, and has built us a synagogue.” Then Jesus went with them. And when He was already not far from the house, the centurion sent friends to Him, saying to Him, “Lord, do not trouble Yourself, for I am not worthy that You should enter under my roof. Therefore I did not even think myself worthy to come to You. But say the word, and my servant will be healed. For I also am a man placed under authority, having soldiers under me. And I say to one, ‘Go,’ and he goes; and to another, ‘Come,’ and he comes; and to my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.” When Jesus heard these things, He marveled at him, and turned around and said to the crowd that followed Him, “I say to you, I have not found such great faith, not even in Israel!” And those who were sent, returning to the house, found the servant well who had been sick.” – LUKE 7:1-10

Our Daily Manna

Posted by Men of Redemption on May 29, 2014

Breakfast of Champions “After these things I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven. And the first voice which I heard was like a trumpet speaking with me, saying, “Come up here, and I will show you things which must take place after this.” Immediately I was in the Spirit; and behold, a throne set in heaven, and One sat on the throne. And He who sat there was like a jasper and a sardius stone in appearance; and there was a rainbow around the throne, in appearance like an emerald. Around the throne were twenty-four thrones, and on the thrones I saw twenty-four elders sitting, clothed in white robes; and they had crowns of gold on their heads. And from the throne proceeded lightnings, thunderings, and voices. Seven lamps of fire were burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God. Before the throne there was a sea of glass, like crystal. And in the midst of the throne, and around the throne, were four living creatures full of eyes in front and in back. The first living creature was like a lion, the second living creature like a calf, the third living creature had a face like a man, and the fourth living creature was like a flying eagle. The four living creatures, each having six wings, were full of eyes around and within. And they do not rest day or night, saying: “Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, Who was and is and is to come!” Whenever the living creatures give glory and honor and thanks to Him who sits on the throne, who lives forever and ever, the twenty-four elders fall down before Him who sits on the throne and worship Him who lives forever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying: “You are worthy, O Lord, To receive glory and honor and power; For You created all things, And by Your will they exist and were created.” – Revelation 4:1-11 (NKJV)
